Cotterman & Company Helps Large Manufacturing Facility Recycle Over 224,000 Pounds of Roofing Material!


Cotterman & Company, Inc. is proud to partner with a large manufacturing facility in their efforts to reduce environmental impact through Duro-Last’s “Recycle Your Roof” program.


As part of this initiative, 224,334 pounds of old roof membrane were diverted from landfills and recycled into new products — turning waste into opportunity and helping preserve our environment for future generations.


This project reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible roofing practices. By working with manufacturers like Duro-Last, Cotterman & Company helps customers extend their roof performance while reducing environmental waste.

Last week, after the snow and ice finally cleared here in Dayton, Cotterman & Company Inc. completed a roof evaluation on a large warehouse facility that had recently started experiencing leaks. As part of the inspection, a date stamp was located on the membrane: DL ’99. That simple marking told a big story.

After severe storms rolled through the area, our Service Department was called to a local hospital to investigate new roof leaks. Cotterman & Company responded quickly and delivered solutions that protected critical facilities with no shutdowns, no delays, and no compromises.
